Free Online Guitar Tuner
OpenFret's chromatic guitar tuner works directly in your browser with no download required. It uses real-time pitch detection through your microphone or audio interface to tune acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. The tuner supports standard tuning (E-A-D-G-B-E) and any alternate tuning since it detects all chromatic notes. For electric guitars, connecting through an audio interface provides the most accurate signal.
How to Use

- Click "Start Tuning".

Tuning Tips
- Tune in a quiet room for the best pitch detection accuracy.
- Always tune up to the target note. If you overshoot, go below and tune up again.
- New strings stretch and go flat quickly. Retune several times after a string change.
- Pluck one string at a time and mute neighboring strings for a clean signal.
